BJP alleges Rs 75 crore commission for defense deal during 2011 UPA government
The BJP has today alleged that, the Congress had received Rs 75 crore from the Defense supplier company through a friend of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's husband Robert Vadra during the previous UPA government.
BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia, who was speaking at a press conference today, citing several media reports, said a case of Robert Vadra's close friend Sanjay Bhandari was filed in London. In the lawsuit, he admitted on agreement that in 2011, he and Thales were working to upgrade the fighter aircraft.
In the filing, it was alleged that Sanjay Bhandari owed Rs 170 crore in a deal between Sanjay Bhandari and Thales Company. According to the truth, Sanjay Bhandari got Rs 75 crore during the UPA government.
After this news, it is learned that wherever there is corruption, there is a connection with the Congress party. This is the culture of this commission, the Congress party has system of making a commission on defense deal also. Corruption is everywhere in the Congress government, said Gaurav Bhatia.
